I absolutely love these stair treads! This is my second set for some steps in the home. In my experience you can toss these down on dirty steps and they will stick for quite some time. However, taking the time to clean the steps thoroughly of debris, dust and hairs makes all the difference. When I thoroughly clean the stairs, the stick is so good on these treads that it won't budge, not even for my vacuum. I don't anticipate needing to wash but every few months, although this set is a much lighter color than the other set that I have. I absolutely love the color and pattern of these new treads, my other set is just brown. Machine wash is best in my experience, then place sticky side up in an area where they can dry completely flat with minimal dust and debris in the air that could land on the sticky parts. All of this is a challenge for me to do at once for all 12 steps, so I'll throw 2-3 carpet treads into the wash with other things from around the house that can be washed and I'll get a few washed here and there when I can. This does the trick for me. When I wash them with other rugs and curtains I use extra, like triple the amount of scent beads for a normal load of laundry because it makes the stair treads smell so fresh and clean and then the whole staircase smells wonderful! I think these are worth the price, I'm going to use them for a long time interchangeably with my other set. Wonderful home find!

These stair treads are great. Should have installed them years ago. They install easily, though I did follow the manufacture's suggestion and used a heat gun on the vinyl (?) backing for a few moments before removal. When coming down from the second floor it was occasionally difficult to see the last step. This was a potential problem for both my wife and me. These treads made the last step very visible and hopefully will prevent a fall.

These stair treads are exactly what I was looking for. The beige and brown herringbone design looks classy and blends beautifully with my wood steps. They stick securely without damaging the stairs and feel soft underfoot - a big plus for kids and pets. It's not adhesive just a rubber that sticks to flooring well. I also love that they're washable and easy to remove for cleaning. They made our stairs so much safer and cozier. Highly recommend!

These stair treads look beautiful once in place and really add extra warmth and coziness to the space. They stay put nicely and feel great underfoot. The only downside was the plastic covering - it was incredibly hard to remove and almost felt sewn into the material. Once that was finally off, they looked perfect and made the stairs feel more inviting. Great quality overall, just wish unwrapping them was easier!
